What is your favorite part about working with portfolio companies/entrepreneurs?

On the Ops side, my job is to get our portfolio companies what they need as quickly and as painlessly as possible. Hearing from our portfolio companies how easy it is to work with NextGen gives me joy because it's one less thing that our portfolio companies need to worry about. We want them heads down and focused on building - not worrying about signature pages or quotes for PR pieces.

What do you do in your spare time?

Hikes with Lola (Bernese mountain dog), puzzles, murder podcasts. All hobbies were acquired pre-lockdown.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be the person who 'ran' the airport. Still don't know what that job would be, but I loved the idea of working in a chaotic space.
